Since 18 December 2025, Notitia Ltd is a signatory to the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), a global initiative established by UN Women and the UN Global Compact to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment in the business environment.
The WEPs provide businesses with practical guidance for advancing gender equality in the workplace, marketplace and community. The Principles are grounded in international labour and human rights standards and connect responsible business practices with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Becoming part of the WEPs community builds on the values and principles that already guide our daily work. For us, gender equality means creating a working environment that provides equal opportunities for professional development and advancement, encourages equal participation in leadership and decision-making, and recognises diverse perspectives as a valuable asset.
As an organisation focused on research, development and innovation, it is particularly important to us that these principles go beyond formal commitments and become an integral part of how we work, develop projects, collaborate with partners and build our organisational culture.
This commitment is particularly important in the context of projects in which Notitia d.o.o. participates as a project partner: “FinTechProfil – Innovative Technology for Assessing Investors’ Risk Preference Profiles” (FinTechProfil), implemented under the IRI S3 call – Increasing the Development of New Products and Services Resulting from Research and Development Activities (co-financed by the Competitiveness and Cohesion Programme 2021–2027), and “Non-stop Biometric Border Control for Secure and Efficient Crossing” (CarMen), funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe programme. In the implementation of both projects, we place particular emphasis on the horizontal principles of gender equality, equal opportunities, non-discrimination and inclusion, thereby connecting the values we promote within Notitia with their practical application in our research, development and innovation activities.
